Information We Collect

When you submit a quote request, we may collect:

basic technical information collected by hosting, email or form services, such as submission time, browser information and IP address.

Why We Collect It

We collect this information so we can:

respond to your quote request;
understand whether your property looks suitable for solar quotes;
contact you about your enquiry by email, phone or text;
introduce you to suitable solar installers if you want quotes;
keep records needed for administration, compliance and dispute handling.

You do not have to submit the quote form. If you choose not to provide the requested contact and property details, we may not be able to assess the enquiry or help with installer introductions.

Sharing Your Information

If you request installer quotes, we may share relevant quote request details with suitable solar installers so they can contact you and provide pricing or advice. We do not sell your information for unrelated marketing.

Installers who receive enquiry details are independent third parties. They are responsible for their own privacy handling, quotes, site checks, installation work, warranties and aftercare.

We use Formspree to process quote requests and contact enquiries. The information you submit passes through this third-party service, is stored in our Formspree account and may be delivered to us by email. Formspree uses spam protection, which may include a verification step. See Formspree's privacy policy. We also keep the enquiry emails needed to respond and manage your request.

Marketing Messages

We may contact you about the enquiry you submitted. If we send commercial electronic messages, we will identify ourselves and give you a way to opt out or unsubscribe, as required by New Zealand law.

Storage And Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. Information may be processed by website hosting, email or form-handling providers. Some providers may store or process information outside New Zealand.

Access, Correction And Deletion

You can ask for access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is wrong. You can also ask us to delete your enquiry information where we no longer need to keep it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed for quote matching, follow-up, administration and compliance. Test enquiries should be deleted once they are no longer needed.
